The Executive Leadership Series is one of WICT NY’s longest running programs and brings our members up-close and personal with senior industry leaders. These events feature an executive or panel of executives who speak candidly about their career challenges, triumphs, and life experiences. Past speakers have included Jennifer Pirot, SVP of Business Development at NBCUniversal Digital Distribution; Lucinda Martinez, SVP of Multicultural Marketing for HBO; Michael Quigley, SVP of Brand Distribution at Turner Network Sales; Shelley Brindle, EVP of Domestic Network Distribution at HBO; and Bernadine Han, VP of News & Local Programming for Time Warner Cable.
Our last event took place on Thursday, May 11th and the topic was “Capitalizing On Change: Making the Most of Disruption.”
The Pay TV space is evolving rapidly, and it’s easy to be uncomfortable with change or terrified of the new. However, change and new innovations can bring the biggest opportunities. Join WICT NY and moderator Jennifer Pirot, as four high-powered women discuss how they capitalized on change and made the most of disruption. You will hear about how these fearless women jumped into digital, carved out exciting areas for themselves, and infused “traditional” jobs with the new.
Moderator Jennifer Pirot is President of Pirot Media, an advisory firm specializing in multi-platform content distribution and strategy. She is a highly-respected media executive with proven experience generating revenue through business development and new product development in traditional and digital media spaces.
