In a virtual-only world, it’s easy to feel unmotivated and disconnected in our professional and personal lives. There are many uncertainties, and this can wreak havoc on our productivity.
How can we overcome these challenges to continue to be effective in the workplace? How do we stay focused on our goals while dealing with remote work, virtual challenges, company reorgs, and other unforeseen obstacles that pop up along the way?
This month, join peers and industry leaders for WICT NY’s first Let’s Talk Tuesday of 2020. We’ll share, discuss and learn strategies to help us all continue to be effective and motivated in the new “virtual” workplace.

Theresa Bogus is currently the Sr. Executive Assistant to the President of Enterprise Sales at Charter Communications. Responsible for administrative support and sales analytics. Prior to that Theresa was the Global Quality Support Manager for Marriott International implementing global initiatives and developing Audits for Marriott Lifestyle Brands. Owner and operator of Campbell Associate Administrative Services.
Madeline Johnson works at NBCUniversal within the Content Distribution Partner Marketing group, focusing in particular on the News brands. Her passion for this work started while interning on the team in 2017, and has continued in her Coordinator role. Inspired and encouraged by her colleagues, Madeline first joined WICT NY as a student, and then joined the Marketing Committee. She now sits on the board of WICT NY as the Social Media Chair. Madeline is passionate about creating partnerships and opportunities to amplify unique voices in the media sphere.
Alexandra Lemlein is an experienced marketer who has worked in all facets of the premium content ecosystem including ad sales, integrated marketing, B2B marketing, client services, and digital publishing. Alexandra was most recently an Integrated Marketing Manager on the Viacom Velocity Pitch Team at ViacomCBS. She was responsible for developing strategic marketing solutions for iconic IP such as The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, MTV VMAS, Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, and the CMT Music Awards that included television, but were rooted in social platforms to ensure that we reached audiences at every touchpoint where they are consume our content.
Sydney Mark is Manager of Partner Marketing for NBCUniversal’s Content Distribution group. In this role, she works across NBCUniversal’s television portfolio to influence marketing partnerships towards effective and entertaining campaigns. Sydney joined the Content Distribution Group in 2016 from NBCUniversal’s Page Program where she held assignments with NBCUniversal’s Digital Enterprises division and CNBC’s “Mad Money with Jim Cramer.” Sydney is also on the WICT Future Leader Board and participating in WICT NY’s Mentoring Circle.
Rachel Leva started her career at NBCUniversal as an intern for the Content Distribution team during her last semester of college at The College of New Jersey. Throughout her career at NBCUniversal, she has worked with many networks like Bravo, Oxygen and Universal Kids and has more recently managed Strategic Partnerships with the entire NBCUniversal portfolio. Rachel has been a part of WICT since joining NBCUniversal in 2015; this year she decided to expand her involvement with joining the event programming team – she is excited to help kick-off the first Let’s Talk Tuesday event for 2020!
Caitlyn Raftery is a hand-on producer that has experience in every stage of video creation. She works for DotDash as a Managing Producer of video for TheSpruceEats and VeryWellHealth. She is a graduate of both the WICT Mentoring Circle and Prime Access programs.
Ninett Rodriguez is a coordinator on the Partner Marketing Strategy team within NBCUniversal’s Content Distribution Org. In her role she works with MVPD partners to execute marketing campaigns across NBCUniversal’s broadcast and cable portfolio. Drawing inspiration from her bicultural roots, she is passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion within media and tech.
Brooke Schasteen-Smith is Senior Manager of Partner Marketing in Content Distribution at NBCUniversal. In her role, she serves as the account manager for AT&T/DIRECTV, Cox, NCTC, Verizon, YouTube TV, and the Regional Sports Networks. Brooke is responsible for the development and execution of marketing partnerships across the entire NBCUniversal portfolio with her accounts. Brooke also serves on the board of WICT NY as the programming chair and the leadership team of Women’s Network, a NBCUniversal internal employee resource group.
