Life in the FAST Lane: The growing world of free ad supported television
Event Date: 9/22/2021
Event Time: 1-2pm ET
Event Location: Virtual
In a world where cord cutting continues to put pressure on traditional TV bottom lines, we’ve seen growth in the world of OTT. Perhaps the most rapidly growing segment is FAST! While industry pundits proclaimed consumers want their video “on demand” and linear TV was dead except for news & sports, FAST has clearly proven them wrong. There are hundreds of FAST channels across dozens of platforms in the US and beyond. Pluto TV, alone, has become a $1 billion-a-year business.
What makes a FAST channel successful? Are they marketing tools or pure revenue generators? As a content owner, how do you get started? Where are the biggest FAST opportunities for 2022 & beyond? What are the challenges or pitfalls to look for?
Join WICT NY on September 22 for a panel discussion on FAST! We’ll hear from experts across content, platform, advertising and operations as they share their insights into this FAST growing business!
This event is FREE and open to members and non members
